Flixton Brass Band
On Sunday afternoon, 4th December 2011 Flixton Brass band will be appearing at Jackson’s Boat. They’ve played for the last 5 years at this time and it’s always very Christmasy with the decorations up and the fire roaring.
It’s always very popular – so arrive early yo be sure of a seat!
A mass snowball fight broke out at Jackson’s Boat yesterday afternoon when most of the customers took to the snow bound garden. Eye witness Jim Bowen said “it was amazing! So many people not at work or school – spending the afternoon at the pub. No wonder this country is in such a state”. Nobody else seemed to care and had a great time!
