Jacksonbury 2010 was held on 21st August 2010. The weather just about held off so we got a good crowd and a good atmosphere. The bands/acts/DJs were diverse but superb and went down well. Clint Boon not surprisingly got a particularly good reception. Roll on 2011….. See the Jacksonbury website for further info/pictures.

A mass snowball fight broke out at Jackson’s Boat yesterday afternoon when most of the customers took to the snow bound garden. Eye witness Jim Bowen said “it was amazing! So many people not at work or school – spending the afternoon at the pub. No wonder this country is in such a state”....
The snows been quite heavy for the last few days so the surrounding fields look quite pretty. The real fire is roaring and we’re still open!
