We're having a bouncy castle every weekend over the Summer (weather permitting!!!)

Every Wednesday at 9pm is Quiz Night. Its £1 each to enter, which goes into the prize pot. The more people attend the bigger the prize for the winning team!!! 
All teams get a complimentary bowl of Cheesy Nacho's.
The Quiz  Rounds are a selection of General Knowledge, History, Sports, Music, Current events, Tv & Movies.

We also have a Joker Game where there's a chance to win £100!!!!

Yesterday afternoon BBC Radio Manchester presenter Sam Walker presented their afternoon program live from Jackson's Boat.

The weather was not great and I took the pictures on my phone so they are not that good.

There were many interesting guests on throughout the afternoon discussing both the pub and the surrounding water parks. 

 

I think it's fair to say that Leaves Roots and Shoots was a great sucess all round! The weather held out and we had a capacity turnout. The music was great and the atmosphere relaxed.

Thanks to SolidEarth and everyone who donated there time over £3000 was rasied for MSF and their much needed work in Darfur.

Next Saturday 10th May 2008 we'll be playing host to Leaves, Roots and Shoots. It should be a great evening of music promoted by SolidEarth.org.

Welcome to Jackson's Boat's new Blog site!

You might have noticed that our website has been pretty poor in the past. I'm now attempting re design it so it actually contains some useful and hopefully interesting information.

Over the next few weeks I'll be uploading all the pictures and articles the we've collected about the pub. Our current menus will be appearing in the menus section and I'll be posting details of our forth coming events. In the meantime if you have any queries feel free to mail me.
